I'm with Boatman61 on this one, or at least in principle. Having said that, I found myself last year wishing to be able to pay taxes in certain jurisdiction to make sure my residency got renewed. Mind you, it is one of the only places in the world where I would think you get value for your tax money.

Unfortunately some of the countries where you can work and not pay taxes are in the Middle East, I ain't going back in a rush.

As for anything else, I don't want cars or houses: they sink the minute you put them in the water.
