Blueseed - 14nm off Half Moon Bay?

Thought this was a novel idea to avoid US work-visa restrictions: Business without Borders | Blueseed: A ship of dreams

Looks like they plan to "purchase and retrofit" a cruise ship for the purpose. They need more funding (boat money) like a lot of us around here. Plan is to be active in '14.

That Ocean up around 1/2 Moon Bay can get pretty nasty at times. Just can't see this idea happening.

Actually, according to this, they need another 130k to fully enter the planning stage. That is, they are still raising money just to create feasibility studies and the like to convince the real investors to give them millions, if not billions, to achieve the final goal of a large cruise ship with state of the art labs.

Exactly...If they cannot find the money this early in the game, it's probably doomed.
