Anyone know what's up with SSCA forum?

I got a message that the site was attacked and shut down for repair...Any news?

Hey, Bert - good to 'see' you. How are the girls?

The website (not just the DB) got clobbered and, as of Day 1 after the attack, they were getting help from the Webmaster and the DB author (for the latest version). However, they both have 'real jobs' as well, so I suspect that's what the delay is...aside from the fact it may have some serious problems (don't know the details).

Barb (the Editor) sent out a Coconut Telegraph message that the site was down so I suspect we'll all get a 2nd one when it's back up.

Back into the grind?

Jack

Hey Jack,

Good to hear from you. We seemed to end up up doing pretty good this year in a down market...so we decided to delay work some more (this could become a habit) and make a slow trip north (the boats in FL) via the Bahamas. I'm very ready, last night it was in the teens in RI, we plan to drive down in early Jan. Send our love to Patricia.

They got hacked.

As a volunteer, I can soundly say the SSCA could really use some technically saavy memebrs to step up and help. If you're a member who's a linux admnistrator or a PHP\Java developer contact the SSCA and let them know you'd be willing to help do development or administration on the site.

We have been hacked

The Discussion Board "button" redirects to Rapidshare Downloads - Full Downloads @ DupeDB.

Good luck to the Admins.
