American Samoa Tsunami . . .

Anybody know how the cruising boats in American Samoa fared when the earthquake and tsunami hit there? It didn't sound like it was too bad at first, but the latest reports seem to be much worse.

Above is an account from a cruiser in the harbor.

I remember that harbor so well. I came in there single handing from Bora Bora years ago and chose to tie off on a friends boat, rather than stop at the nasty concrete pier. I got some grief about it at check in later, but it was way better than having my boat get knocked around there. I can't imagine being tied to it in the middle of the night with a tsunami. I can't imagine how scary that must have been.
