The owners have gone out today to retrieve her with a salvage boat. We will know more in the next few days once the investigation starts. Still floating high...thanks for those who sent your positive thoughts

Haven't seen anything on the boat, but the ocean swells from that storm they were in arrived here on Nevis over the last couple of days. BIG waves!

Kekoa is safe and on land. Investigation will start at the beginning of the new year. When found she was at 103 miles off shore sitting normal in the water, more will be known soon.

Kekoa is being fixed as we speak by the builders/owners. She should be done in a month or two and then off to St.Thomas. She will be delivered by the builders/owners to assure nothing goes wrong and she is treated correctly. Love live Kekoa

What was the extent of the damage? Is she back at sea?

Thanks for any update.

I live on the NC coast about, 100 miles south of Elizabeth City, so approx 200 miles from where they abandoned the cat. I only remember that day/night because I spent half the night standing in the bathroom watching things blow down the street out the window and had to crank the heat up for the first time this winter. I stepped out during a lull in the wind and could hear the ocean, it was rocking and rolling to beat daylights.
