What is this?
Hi everyone, I just joined the forum but have been browsing it for information for some time now so many thanks in advance for all the assistance.

I just bought a Beneteau Oceanis 400, and we noticed the electrical connections on the chain plates. I suspect it might be for lightning discharge arrestation but would appreciate confirmation of the same or advise otherwise.
