What am I missing to access the forum ?
In the forum Seamanship and boat handling, it shows that there are 658 threads and yet when I go in, I get only one page or 20 threads and when I click on page 2 I get the weather forum???

Thanks for the prompt reply but I am still confused... I know, it doesn't take much...
This is what I am seeing, 658 threads and yet I only get one page of 25 and then page 2 is weather??? Where are the other 623 threads???
By comparison, when I go into the Power boat forum with 562 threads, it has 23 pages???

You don't have a problem. Looks like some kind of database issue. I'm sure Janet or someone will take a look at it soon...
The main page knows there are 658 threads, but for some reason when you click on the forum, it then thinks there are only 26 threads. Note that at the bottom of the page under "Display Options", it says "Showing 25 of 26 threads".

Re: What am I missing to access the forum?
It's possible that you have a setting in your account options that is out of wack.
Please click here: http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...do=editoptions
Scroll down until you see "Thread display options"
Look for "Default Thread Cut Off" and change it to "Show all Threads"
Then scroll to the bottom and hit "save changes"

Ha! You caught me on that one. That particular forum just hasn't had much activity. I changed mine to show all threads and they are all there, now.

I changed those settings and that really did the trick... Thank you.
However, I still don't understand why it was ok on the power boat forum, maybe those post were not as old as the other one...
thanks again.
