Weird spacing formatting

I don't know why this is happening, but whenever I post anything, and have multiple paragraphs, the formatting always adds extra line spaces between paragraphs, that I then have go in and edit out.

For example, when I typed this, I put one empty line between these two paragraphs, and when I click submit, it will undoubtedly add more. Is this some weird option that I have selected by accident?

Happens to me, also.
I often compose in Word Perfect, then cut & paste to forum reply box.

Re: Weird spacing formatting

That's sort of bizarre. Thanks for letting me know. At least it's not just me.

I've noticed this as well. Happens in Firefox, but not Chrome seemingly. I usually just edit and clean it up when it happens. Hitting preview in the advanced editor will trigger it and then allow a cleanup as well.

Happens here too. Firefox or Chrome.
I blame climate change.

Re: Weird spacing formatting

I'm using firefox, so maybe that's it. If I use the 'preview post' feature, I can edit it and it posts correctly from that method.
