Threads Are Not Getting Marked 'Read'

I am new to this forum and having a problem while viewing the posts. When I have read some posts in one login and I come back to the forum the next time those posts which I read the previous time still appear in 'bold' i.e. they are shown as 'unread'.

Is there a setting that I should change somewhere? Please advise. Thanks.

I had a problem finding my way around the unread threads when I started so I will tell you what I found and maybe it is the same problem. There is a little blue "down arrow" button right to the left of the title when you are in the "Home Page Portal" view. This takes you to the last unread comment. The title bar (blue bar across the upper part below the thread title that starts with "User CP" has an option called "New Posts" that is also helpful at finding the new stuff.
Also you might have your privacy settings set so you are not saving cookies. I don't know if this site uses them but many do to help keep track of what you have seen.

Are you logging in each time? If you left your browser open did you hit refresh/reload?
