Spam messages from forum?

I just got an inappropriate spam solicitation email message from this forum. How do we report spam? And can this forum help help prevent it?

Welcome to forum Edsunder.

Apologies that you received the inappropriate PM.

The PM was part of a widespread spam attack on the forum. We have methods in place to stop this type of spam, but unfortunately very occasionally these filters are defeated.

The moderators and admin team are working to clean up the mess.

Hitting the red and white triangle button on the bottom left of the post or top of the PM and reporting any post or PM that breaks the rules is a help.

Me too, I just received a message from CF, this is the text I've received in my personal email :
You have received a new private message at Cruisers & Sailing Forums from Amy1452, titled "Hi, honey, do you want to see my nu de photos and videos? Find me - date4girl.com". When I go on my CF message box, nothing appears as this message, only one from Don CL, but I can read that I have 2 messages stored, maybe on from Don and the other one from this spam.
Unfortunately, I cannot delete this spam or it is not visible, maybe deleted automatically by CF system ?
