post notifications look like sanscrit?

the notifications I receive of "reply to posts" come up looking like sanscrit or hieroglyphics... once I clik on the blue portion I can read them... why?

Hmmm, strange. Any others seen these screwy email notifications?

FWIW, I restarted the email server to see if that helps anything.

Mine are coming through the same as they always have.

it has been going on for a couple of months. Only at home though. on my work computer it is OK. Must be a settings thing, but not sure what
