Logging out from smart phone

I find it difficult to log out when I log in using a smart phone. Instead of getting a LOG OUT icon in the upper-right corner it stays with LOG IN, even though I've already logged in. Sometimes I can get a LOG OUT icon if I tap on VIEW FULL SITE in the bottom-left corner. Other times it still stays as a LOG IN. This is a relatively new problem of maybe a month or so...

I don't have this problem when using my desktop computer.

In case it makes any difference, I'm using a Firefox browser.

Have you tried the app instead of a browser?
