iPad App for CF
Use an iPad to access this forum. I am having a problem with the app and wonder if anyone else has the same issue. When reading threads and get to the point where I tap to load more threads, at random times the app completely exits. This is random and I can cause it to duplicate this. Of course the pain is that if you have read 100 threads, after it exits, you are back to the first 10 threads.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Don

Re: iPad App for CF
I use mine all the time.... but never the mobile app, always the full site.
I’ll bump your request up the ladder to the guy we keep tied to the wall in the back room who actually understands what string pulls what!

Alternately, in the Portal, drop down the right-hand side to "Additional Links." The app has its own banner.

If you're on the iPad, did you try the app store?

On my original post... I miss-typed. It should have read, "I cannot cause this to duplicate". It is random.

The only issue I have found is it won't load I have to reboot my iPad. Only app that does this. I think it is related to the login and a signal loss

I use the mobile app all the time. Works great no issues. Much easier than going through the browser.

Most issues with the app can be resolved by deleting it and then loading a fresh version.

Re: iPad App for CF
Don & Janet, I had an issue too. I've only had the Ipad for a couple of weeks. Initially CF App screen all black even after deleting and reloading. Last night for some reason it started to work for the first time after a long wifi session - I wondered if it hadnt downloaded properly before as I'm usually on wifi just for a short time?? Didn't worry me much as I was just using Safari instead. Anyway all good now. Cheers

The iPad app appears to be a nice front end for the web page. You can post, but to edit, thank etc, you need the full web site. At the top of each thread is a right arrow that ports you to the full website. I believe you can edit there.
Oops you can edit in the iPad app, just not thank someone. For that you use the arrow at the top.
