Ignore Forum

There is a list of forums that I added to my ignore list, so they wouldn't show up when I click the Portal tab.

Now, when I attempt to add additional forums to my list, it appears to accept that selection, but when I examine the forum designation it has not toggled to Ignored.

Has the quantity limit for ignoring forums been reached? If so, can that quantity limit be changed? Can the problem be fixed?

When I examine my Ignore List in my CP, there are multiple instances of the same forum showing as ignored, but when I examine the selection in the forum it shows as not ignored.

When I attempt to remove several instances of the same forum from my Ignore List it instead removes all instances from the list.

You might try logging out and then in again and then resetting your ignore preferences. We use cookies to retain these preferences and it's possible that they have become corrupted.

Corrupted cookies... there has to be a good joke looming...

Thanks for the suggestion.

Could you please confirm that it is possible to Ignore "Europe & Mediterranean", then return to that forum and see if the forum Ignore selection has toggled in the drop down?

Only certain forums are problematic, with Europe & Mediterranean being one of those forums with this issue.

It looks like the forum is broken because on some forums, when selecting Ignore Forum, that forum gets added to the ignore list in the User's Profile, but the drop down in that forum does not toggle to Unignore Forum.

If that same forum is again selected to be ignored, then the ignore list will have multiple entries for that same forum.

One example of this fault is: Europe & Mediterranean.
