You need to go to the "Discussion Board"...Select which forum...Open... then just above list of forum topics on Left side...you will see "New Thread"

For more detail info on ways to post look in Home Page and read thru FAQ

good luck!

I moved your post to its own thread so people might see it better.

When you are looking at a list of threads you can click the button that says "New Thread" to start your own.

Or if you are reading someone else's post and want to add on you can click, "quote" to reply with their message quoted on yours, "reply" to simply reply to the previous post, or "quick reply" to quickly respond to a post without access to the animated smilies like this ---->

Once again welcome to the forum and have fun and don't worry if you click a wrong button. We are here to help and sometimes we do before anyone notices

I posted a picture - In this case we are looking at the list of threads in the help section.

Re: How to Start a New Thread

Hi, I’m trying to post a new thread. I cannot find discussion board.
I realize I’m replying but I want to start a new post.
Thanks Tom

Re: How to Start a New Thread

Well, I have the same question. The screen shot from the example is not what my screen now looks like. On the upper left in a forum it does say "Thread/Thread Starter" but clicking on it doesn't change anything.

Thanks for your help.

Re: How to Start a New Thread

First, go to the forum you want to post in by clicking on the "Forum" button. Find the right forum for your subject.
Once in the forum, in the left margin there is a button that says "New Thread".
Click on "New Thread" and a writing box will open.
Create the post. (If you want to use emoticons, go to "Go Advanced."
Click on "Submit" or "Post Reply" when finished.

Re: How to Start a New Thread

Ok. Maybe im late to this one but have the same problem. I tried it on 3 browsers. There is no button to start a new thread as shown in the thumbnail. I love this website but this is very frustrating.

Moderator: could you please send an actual link i can click on to start a discussion under navigation?
