I like the discussions here, but there are so many sub-forums that it is tedious to check each and every one for recent posts.
Is there a way to list recent activity everywhere on this site? The home page sort of does this, though it's arbitrarily cut off and there does not seem to be a way to go to subsequent pages.

And, if you find a thread that you're interested in following, you can "subscribe" to it using the "Tread Tools" menu. Then you can go to your User CP page (button is upper left on the page) any time you want, and it will appear in a listing there if any new posts have been made to it.
I use the "Portal" link first as that does the recent treads and remembers where you last read it so when you click it takes you the post after te last one you may have read on it. Then I go to "New Posts" but I have to find where I was that way.

One can also click the "RSS" in the URL bar for a list of recent posts, and/or subscribe to the feed in one's email account. Handy if you're on the go.
