Google Custom Search Feature Not Working + One Other Issue

When I try a search term in the Google Cutom Search I get an error message from the Google page stating:
Bad Request

Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request
Also seemingly related to the new skin is an issue where I click on the subject link of a new thread that I've never read and get taken to some random post in the middle of the thread - and not the first post as i would expect it to take me. Sometimes the random post is on a second page (e.g. page 2 of 4 total pages related to the thread).

Thanks for the report, teneicm. The first item is a known issue and is being addressed. In the meantime, you can access the custom Google search via this link:

The second issue you mention is a new one that no one else has reported. Are you certain that it happens in threads that you have not previously read? Are you certain that you didn't click on the little box to the left of the title (that takes you to your first unread post in a thread)?

We'll check these issues out and try to create a fix.

May be a browser compatability issue with older versions of IE. Now that I'm at home with IE 8.0 I don't have the issue. Browser at work is IE 7.x. Also at work I noticed that if a thread has multiple pages, the pages do not show up next to the thread title. Probably related issues.

Okay, thanks teneicm . . . the techies will take your reported issues and see what they can figure out.
