Re: Difficulty paying for membership.

Hi Celestial, I can’t say I’ve ever seen any other threads, but evidently it’s a problem. I didn’t even know it was available until recently, but if it was me receiving donations, I would get another option on the table pretty quick. I wonder how much they have missed from folks who didn’t bother to raise the issue?
I just though it would be nice to pay them back a bit for such a superb free forum, which has helped me sort thing out quite a few times.
All I can do now it just say thanks.

Yes, that would work, but honestly, it's stupid that you have to do that. Writing a software system in a way that works for the users is not that hard. It's just that way too many (PayPal included, obviously) never think about what works for the users. They only think about what works for them, what will be easy for them, what they want. That's just nothing but poor customer service.

As soon as someone comes along with a credit card system similar to PayPal, but designed for the customer's convenience, instead of for the company's, PayPall will be history. I can't wait!

Re: Difficulty paying for membership.

I agree with DenverdOn: Paypal does not seem to be very user friendly when you have a problem—and I’m no internet duffer—I write websites. That they don’t have a toll free number is another indication of a couldn’t-care-less customer attitude.
I don't see why I should have to start another e-mail account just to circumference their 'security.'

The looser here is Cruisers Forum.

That would be an Inelegant solution making one more vulnerable to hacking and fraud.

Last I heard, this forum was privately owned and worth more than God.
