CF unaccesible through IE

For several hours now CF is unaccesible for me using IE normal way.
I can access ONLY through InPrivate function.

I want to congratulate the administrators of this site for the success in discouraging use of the board

Re: CF unaccesible through IE

I've been using the CF several times in the past couple of hours using IE. I'd also like to congratulate the operators for keeping the site accessible.

Perhaps you might want to check your IE settings and cookies before making a blanket assertion that the problems lie in the site and not on your PC.

I haven't heard of there being any mass issues, which usually means it isn't on our end.

Re: CF unaccesible through IE

If first see if you have a issue with your settings. If there was a issue with one browser it would be with all. Not just ie not the app for the forum. It would mean then the server is down.

Assuming you blame IE being the culprit have you tried with other browsers on that same machine. Like chrome, opera, or Firefox which is my main desktop browser and I run add block plus plugin. I am not a fan of IE at all I run from that browser as fast I can.

Second if it just in IE not working then the browser is the culprit. Check your proxy settings and if it is working offline or not. Computers are only as smart as the person working it. It's a machine that takes input and gives you output. Even if you don't know what you are inputting.

I would like to add and say

I take my hats off the the administrators allowing this to be a free forum and giving their time to keeping it open. I've never had any issues yet with the server going down or not being able to access this wealth of information and the friendly banter that is here.

Bandwidth and servers do cost.
