CF App for iPhone

I use iPhone App. This evening the "homescreen" for lack of a better term has changed. Screenshot below.

The BROWSE function has disappeared. Previously it was between SEARCH and SETTINGS. Now it's gone??

Also prior to this disappearing, when I would first open the App it went to the TIMELINE showing latest posts from across all categories. Great place to start. But now the App opens at NOTIFICATIONS.

Strange..

Any change Pelagic?
I'm still missing browse and no way to create new posts.
May have to dump the App and reload??

Same problem on my iPad. Opens on Notifications, and has no option for "Categories". App is now useless!

Re: CF App for iPhone

In the last hour this fixed on my iPhone App. No longer a BROWSE function, it was replaced with a SUB FORUM menu item, located at the top. As Pelagic indicated above, i now believe it was a bit of housekeeping. I hope yours clears up as well...

Re: CF App for iPhone

Yes, I do get the three little bars which gives me the sub-menu, but the previous categories, like engine and propulsion, anchoring, scuttlebutt etc., are no longer available.
All I can get is "unread", where I get a mishmash of all the various threads, which I must wade through to find what I might be interested in. If I want to find articles on, say, batteries, then I have to use the search function. (And we all know how wonderful and useful THAT is!)
If I want to check posts on engines, I expect to be able to just go to the sub-forum marked:"Engines"
The app used to be somewhat user-friendly. Now, it looks like Bill Gates and Microsoft have taken over.

Re: CF App for iPhone

Please ignore my former little rant. As of 11:42pm, I have the browse function back! All is well with the world .......... Don't know what I would do without my Cruisers Forum Fix!

Re: CF App for iPhone

My CF App had not loaded for the last 2 days.
I then suspected that the "Battery Doctor" App that saves power by 'Force Stopping' running Apps had corrupted CF.

Uninstalled then reinstalled CF and it works fine.
So I just uninstalled Battery Doctor
