Can I ask for advice on how much my boat is worth on here?
Looking at selling my boat but have no idea what its worth. Can I ask for suggestions here?
I didn't want just to put it up as I don't mind paying for advertising fee's once I have got an idea. Thanks

Probably not a problem but wouldn't trust the responses that you'd get. Best source of value would be a local boat broker if you can't find other examples on yachtworld.com. There is also a blue book for boats though don't know how to access it and how valid the pricing is.

I agree with Roverhi,
Plus prices vary considerably depending on where you're located

Take a look at BUCNET for a reference. You can create a guest account for limited access, but that will give you basic valuations.
Also surf the listing sites, like Yacht World, to see what others are asking. Keep in mind these are asking prices, whereas BUCNET is based on selling prices.
If you post make, model, year, condition, others here might make an educated guess.
Venue where selling also makes a difference.

BoatUS has a service that will give you the value of your individual boat.

Check on sailboatlistings.com. It's much more realistic than Yachtworld.

Re: Can I ask for advice on how much my boat is worth on here?
Ask 1000 people and you will get 1000 prices. As with most things I sell, ask yourself how much would someone need to pay for you to let it go, add 5% (so you can drop down a bit and make them feel as if they won the haggling phase). You probably won't make a killing this way, but you will feel you got a fair price, as will the buyer.
Of course, if you are in desperate need of money, then desperate times call for desperate measures.
Good luck!

Like others have said above, a lot depends on the location and condition of the boat. However, please post some pictures and a description. You might get the answer you need, and maybe even find a buyer too.

A 25' boat in decent shape with a trailer 3-7k fairly easy.

Looking for another pretty place to work on the boat.

Re: Can I ask for advice on how much my boat is worth on here?
Your boat is worth what a willing and qualified buyer will pay and what you will accept. That said I spent 40 years selling boats of all brands, condition, and prices. The best way to sell her is to have a survey completed by a tough surveyor, take this information and fix as many survey items as you can reasonably complete. Most surveyors put a "market value" on the boat. This is a guideline don't get tied to this number, remember the first sentence of this post. Put her on the market and NEVER mention that you had a survey. The survey is your information and is not to be shared with anyone. DO NOT share YOUR survey with any prospect. It just confuses the buyer and a very smart man said once, "Nothing good can come of that." Truer words were never spoken.
If you are good at selling stuff, sell her yourself, if not hire a broker and make it easy for him to show your boat. Keep her clean and tidy inside and out while the boat is listed. Clean and tidy sells.

So true...and well said.
IMHO, the best way to make your boat desirable (and hence fetch a good price) is to make sure that everything works, and the whole boat is spanking clean. Even a 40 year old boat (like mine) cleans up nice with a little elbow grease. Move all the personal gear off, so that everything they see is included in the price.
Once you've done that, you might surprise yourself, and want to keep the boat a while longer for yourself.
And of course, lots of pictures on kijiji...maybe a web site with lots of pics/specs/videos. Hey...did someone mention videos? Heres the video from when I sold my C&C25 a few years back:
