Are PMs still supported on the New IPhone App?

This question seems to have been asked a few times now but not answered.

I think a formal response from the site admins would be reasonable.

This morning there was an update for the app and now I have access to inbox and sent messages on my iPhone.

Check for updates and let us know if it works for you now.

I take back my whoopee! Now the %#@$! advertisements are even worse than before. Sorry, but as a reasonably long time CF subscriber this is the last straw. I'm over this crap.

Admin staff are looking hard at the issue... its complicated by 3rd party involvement.

We will try and sort it as soon as..

In my view of the forum (iPhone running iOS 10.3.2 beta 2), the obtrusive nature of the advertising has been diminished. Thanks to the admin staff for their actions in returning the advertising presence to its previous level.

Mine has also subsided to tolerable levels, I'm no longer getting full page ads for everything under the sun.

I guess tolerable is subjective. As a cruisers forum paid subscriber of many years who regularly spends time in places with poor mobile coverage I find the current level of advertising intolerable. The app is practically unusable out of the major metro areas for me.

Edit: I just checked the app now and I am getting no adverts at all. Certainly an improvement but I wonder how long it will remain this way?

Ahhhh so it wasn't just me. But some of the ads actually were funny when mixed with the thread where they appeared.
