Add-On for this Site Failed to Run

i keep getting pop up message bar 'an add-on for this site failed to run. Check the security settings in internet options for potential conflicts'.
it seems to have no impact if i just ignore the message but is kind of annoying. is ther a simple way to make it stop?

Hi - my guess is that this is related to java or maybe flash. It's likely that your security settings are preventing this from running. What browser are you using?

explorer. i cannot move this site into trusted zone cause that requires an https prefix.
