Re: Access Notifications - iOS App
Can you offer a little more info so we can try to trouble shoot this?
Do you mean the content of discussion threads or e-mailed subscription notices?
Have you tried logging out and then back in again?

I have the same problem. Even after logging back in.
Also there is no way to access message folder.

Re: Access Notifications - iOS App
The icon on the desktop comes up with a number showing if there are private messages or notifications of posts on threads I am following. Taping the icon took me to the forum main page. I then would tap the menu and a drop down menu appeared with links to "notifications" and "messages" with a few other options.
Since the update I cannot click on either of the above and access the notifications or messages waiting. Also, because I cannot access them, the number on the desktop icon just carries on growing and cannot be cleared as I cannot clear it by access "notifications" to "messages".

Re: Access Notifications - iOS App
I updated the iOS app on my ipad some weeks ago and found it crap. So I am no longer using it and am using the webaccess instead.
What I found particularly annoing was the way that ads were presented in the left colomn. They were made to look exactly like messages so you would click on them if you did not paid attention.
I am no longer using it.
Web access gives me a consistent presentation of the site acros devices.

Re: Access Notifications - iOS App
And in addition, the layout of the new site via the app is stupid and a pita as a person has to use their right thumb or finger to scroll down a page where the daft designer has put the reply arrow, which keeps opening a reply window. Whoever did the new design/layout and testing obviously did not put any thought into the task! I have no idea why the change was made - the old adage applies: do not attempt to fix something that is not broken!

Re: Access Notifications - iOS App
The last update changed the app configuration a little and now menu should be expandable from the left (swipe to open). Can you wander around a bit and see if you can locate it?

Yeah, I barely touch it and it opens. Probably opened it a hundred times now. Plus the app is frequently locking up, making me turn off my device to reboot. Frustrating too that you can't access the inbox using the app.

Idk... more like last update screwed app completely, I can't swipe left or right, this is weird and Very user unfriendly as far as I am concerned. I'm deleting the app again, not worth the frustration.
