I have fished for samon in alaska for 30 seasons. Gillnetting is easy and fun. In the right area it pays 6 figures. It has allowed me to do one 10 year circumnavigation. The same opportunities are still available and may be even better now than when I started. Bill.

I'm not familiar with gillnetting. Do you go to Alaska every season? Can you do that wherever you happen to be? Can you explain a little more in depth?

Gillnetting is perhaps one of the oldest ways of catching fish. Where I fish in the summer salmon have been harvested commercially for over 120 years. Try google there must be somthing there. Most people have the mistaken belief that fishermen are poor. Car wrecks and murders as well as poor seasons somewhere sells newspapers. Bill
