Blue cod may be currently stressed in the Sounds because of all the yuppie's (am not referring to Sir Wheeler
) down there.
I can say that area's I've fished on both coasts
away from the yuppie's there's an abundance of certain types of fish species. In-fact, at anchorage (during a blow) up the
east coast (north of white rock) I've caught 2 cray's with a hook & lure[1] (no bait) while being bored & throwing over a handline.
[1] cray's very rarely take to hooks (hence the use of trap pots with bait).
