A clean looking deck. I am curious about the snap shackle with turnbuckle. Is the snap after market? What is the purpose for the snap since it seems it can not readily unsnapped.

The gelcoat is in good shape. I assume the combination is after market, but the cat was purchased with it. I could probably find a better use for the snap shackle, but it works for now.
