Hi buji. Nice airplane wreck. Can you please tell us the story behind it? World War II, Japaneese, location?

Happy scuba diving,
Gisle

This US F4U Corsair was on a training mission in 1946 when it ran out of fuel. The pilot managed to nicely "ditch" the plane in the calm waters. The aircraft now rests in 107 fsw off Maunalua Bay Oahu, Hawaii.

Check out the url under Description for more details and pictures.

Hi Buji!

Seems nice down there, how deep lays the plane?
Here in Sweden the water is so cold that we need dry suit! :-)

Regards /Lasse
