Has anyone ever sold a old diesel engine? I have a Perkins 4-236 that I need to get rid of and I am looking for a good way to sell it.

I sold a Volvo MD 17C...was easy, I just advertised it in the local sail rag, and another regional boat rag...it sold right away. I just listed the spec's, and engine hours.

Ebay has an area dedicated to engines. I've seen all sorts of things move through there, including some nice marine generators.

I sold my inboard gas Volvo to a guy that had the same model boat as mine. He gave me a good price because he knew it would fit right into the boat and was the same as his original engine. Maybe you can find other Irwins on a Irwin group?
