This look right? Putting Boom Toggle on new Seldon Boom

I am Putting a Boom Toggle on new Seldon Boom and the parts are listed for the boom I have, but should there be this much gap between the boom toggle and the boom end. The hole in the toggle is 16mm and the hole in the boom end is 12mm so I am going to have to drill the boom end to 16mm. The boom mast bracket and Toggle I purchased used.
Boom is Seldon 250
Boom bracket is 508-152
and toggle is 528-071

I am not familiar with that particular gooseneck so take this with a grain of salt, but I don't see a problem there. I like the idea of room in there to put in some teflon washers to insulate the contact. I might be more concerned about the size of the pin, but with that size boat I am guessing it is fine.

A loose fit here seems to normal, but that does look extreme, I would make up some teflon washers to insert into both sides ,

If you need to drill out from 12 to 16 mm just be sure there's enough "meat" left around the enlarged hole

Old chopping boards make good washers!

I like to old chopping board idea. Think I have a partially melted one.
