Advice for sailing/fishing dinghy

Morning all.

Just getting started at looking for a dinghy. Primarily it’ll be used around Clear Lake and surrounding Houston area lakes, but there is an annual trip to the Ft Myers area where I’d like to trailer it.

I’d like something that would work well around Pine Island / North Captiva to do some fishing with the kids—mostly on the east side of north Captiva in the calmer waters.

Can anyone make a recommendation? I’m towing with an Odyssey so obviously I’d like to keep the weight down, if length doesn’t ruin it first.

Not sure if this is big enough for what you are thinking. But I own one and like it very much. Stable, fun to sail. Easley driven by Small Engine.
