Great Lakes Ports
Have been a powerboater for many years on Lake Erie & Huron, have recently got back in to sailing and am interested in doing some cruising. Any tips or hidden gems that I wont find in the guide books, or a chart would be very helpful.

DC, it might be helpful if you were to be more specific as to where you want to cruise in the GL.

My plan ( or desire), is to take 2 weeks next summer and cruise up to mackinaw, possibly even the North channel if time permits.

From the western basin of Lake Erie.
