Love the Abacos, so not just one island. Beautiful water, little water traffic, great beaches and small towns to explore.

The Grenadines. Bequia and Mayreau.
But so many choices for all tastes.
Good trade winds, almost never any low pressures in the winter. Not much rain.
Super friendly people.
I have sailed The BVI's and they are nice but crowded and not much to do except beach bars. on most islands.
St-Martin, nice but not alot of anchorage spots. After a week you've done them all.
ST-Barth nice but sooooo expensive. Don't even think sailing in Gustavia on the high season. Megayachts need only apply.
Anguilla. Beautiful beach and some small sandy islands if you like that.
Martinique. Beautiful. Lots to do on the island. Good food. Northern part feel more relaxed. Southern part is very busy but lots of room. Good winds.
St-Lucia, Rodney bay and your done. Lock your boat.
St-vincent. Lock your boat and talk to the locals. If you come in stop, they might not like you. Buy bread and token jewellery and they will leave you alone.
The Grenadines.
Ahhhh the Grenadines.
I want to live there.
Bequia sooo relaxed.
Mayreaux lovely people and Salt Whistle bay is poster perfect. Be sure ti check out the last bar before the jungle.
Union. Best Full moon party at JT pro Center. Chatham bay if you don't like crowds.
Petit St-Vincent, free luxury resort tour if you ask the front desk. Sundowner at the beach bar. Bequia Sunset.
Mustique...why bother except for Basils bar. But the rest i all huge empty villas that they say belong to this or that star. For me if I don't see Mike Jaggers in his bathrobe fetching his newspaper on the porche....I don't really care to whom the house belongs.
I do not sail the bahamas because i do mostly charters as skipper and if you go there for a week you might get 2-3 days of rain. Like what is coming to them now. Ruins your week vacation. Windward Islands practically garanties winds and good weather and lots of sun . Almost never rains.

There is a whole world out there. Go check it out.

Hard to say for sure. Maybe, Maniack in the Abacos: Great trails, long ocean side beach, many places to have a fire in the evening, often have a bay to ourselves, reef close by, town of New Plymouth only an hour or so away.

To the OPs question.. That is SOOO hard.. It depends on what week it is for me..

For pure beauty.. Very tough to beat Warderick Wells, Bahamas

For easy cruising (access to stuff and social) it was St. Martin (not sure how its fairing these days).

For a place we could spend a whole season.. Toss up between 2, Antigua and Martinique. Both have loads to offer.

Sigh... If I keep going I find a reason why every island or place is my favorite!

St Martin, I prefer French side.. excellent facilities.. good stores.. good wine.. good food.. direct flights to Europe all within a dinghy ride..
Easy sail to Anguilla and St Barts and my favourite jump off for a transit.

For St-Martin you might want to check if everything is back on line
Irma did some pretty nasty damage over there.
Not all airlines have resumed direct flights.

Tobago Cays, very special place.

When we sailed up from Brazil, our first landfall was in Tabago, which we thought was nice. From there we spent time in Trinidad and worked our way up through Carriacou, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Martinique, Dominica, Nevis, St. Maarten/Martin and St. Thomas. We only spent a few hours in the Turks and Caicos. We only spent one night in the Bahamas.

Perhaps we're spoiled by other island chains we've visited but, frankly, we didn't find anything in the Caribbean that we found compelling enough to warrant a return visit.

Okay--Second choice is Marie-Galante. Delices de Saint Luis (at the head of the pier in St. Louis of course) has fabulous breakfast delicacies for less than 5 Eu.

Haven't had the privilege to sail Gaudeloupe.
It must be really nice.
St-Barth is fine also. Expensive but fine. It's like going to Monaco. You kind of feel you don't belong.
Unless you own one of the mega yachts moored at the docks
