Another antifoul question SE Queensland

Times up again,

Hate watching the standard coatings wash off, I love the idea of these semi permanent slick coatings but am sceptical of the claims. Does anyone have some real world experience with any of them. I've watched all the youtube videos and none of them help so I'd like to hear from someone with it on their boat.

Antifoul seems to be specific to an area, so here's my plan #856

For the next year we will sail southern Queensland, 2nd quarter 2020 we will head north, headed for the Kimberly, probably on the hard in Darwin for the wet season, then either continue around or head home then the South Pacific.

I'll sail at 3kn if I have to, in fact one of my best days we did 1.5kn for about 5hrs. But usually somewhere 8 - 16 kn. Maybe park for up to a couple of weeks.

Is the silicone or similar coatings suitable for me ?

P.S. I'm not jumping out to scrub hulls in croc country.
