Farrier command10 trimaran

Hi,
I am restoring an 1985 command10mt trimaran in Indonesia, the line used to rise the centerboard need to be replaced but I can't figure out how to remove it from the centerboard itself, any suggestions?
Thanks
Marco

There is an F-Boat forum, you could try to join and ask there.

If the uphaul line appears to just be sticking out of the daggerboard, it's probably just glued in with epoxy. This is how my uphaul line is attached.

To replace it, I extracted the board and laid it flat, cut the uphaul line flush, and drilled out the part that was glued into the board.

Then I soaked the end of the new uphaul line in epoxy, filled the hole (about 2 inches deep, be careful not to drill right through the board though) with epoxy, then stuck the new line into the hole, taping it flush to the board.
