Advice for Marinas in the North East

Next spring we will be moving our Lagoon 52 catamaran to the North East. We are planning to explore the area next summer and we need a good home base. Our catamaran is 52' and has a 29' beam. We were thinking either Newport, somewhere on the Cape and possibly even Marblehead. Once the kids are out of school, we'll sail, possibly up to Maine and then in the fall, home school the kids and head toward the Caribbean. Any advice on marinas would be very helpful as I want to make reservations now.
