Crew Wanted: San Jose del Cabo,MX-> Panama Canal

Hi,
This is Arthur, my significant other Alana, another crew member and I are sailing our CT 48' from San Jose del Cabo, at the bottom of Baja to and through the Panama Canal departing hopefully by the week before Christmas. We are a young crew in our late 20's to late 30's but have pretty good amount of boating, skippering and sailing experience between us. We want two independent additional like minded, competent people to join us ( couples welcome too)
All food (two of us are former professional cooks and we eat seafood and primarily organic products), fuel and necessary gear besides personal desirables are included. We are asking additional crew members to contribute $1,500 minimum to cover expenses including canal passage. The trip will be 3 to 4 weeks.
Our boat is fully equipped for this voyage with all the necessary electronics, new zodiac offshore 6 man life raft and other necessary safety gear. She sleeps 6 comfortably. Please contact us if you are interested in joining us on our adventure!

I agree, should be in commercial post. Sounds like there will be 6 crew with two paying passengers. 3-4 weeks. Provisions should not be over about $300. for each crew and the Panama canal fee transit about $1500. for 50' boat. $1500 divided by 6 = $250. a piece. So the additional crew expense should be around $550.00. for the trip. Plus the fact that you would be getting the extra eyes for watches and not have to pay for line handlers. Sounds like you want the 2 crew to pay for the whole trip instead of sharing.
