Horta Azores Peters Bar

So just sitting here having a bit of food and watching at the flags. Had a thought any of the member have put their flags here when they were here?

We didn't put a flag there but drank plenty , painted the wall , if you get a chance eat at the lava rock restaurant down the street, it's great!!

Left the headboard of a mainsail we shreaded getting there. Fun to find yourself in a room full of other people who have just crossed an ocean too.

Did not leave a flag but drank a bit - wandered down the to Church down the street and spent a bit of time saying Thank You - and of course painted the wall - congrad hope the crossing was good

I am sorry to say I still cannot be counted among the few that crossed the ocean. I flew here to join a boat going azores-madeira-then up the coast of Morocco to Gibraltar so I'll be doing halfway this time but the dream is definitely there. One day on my own boat God willing. The bar and especially the port with all the pictures was something else like I was looking at the road of dreams.. Perfect. When i get back will post some pics for those that have it on their bucket list.
@boatmam61 epic pic now that I can put it in a perspective.

My hat is off to all of you that have made the trip it is truly something to be proud of.
