Very interested in gaining practical experience sailing and would be available to crew over weekends, since I work full time during the week. *Experience with handling sailboats of different classes. I am a quick learner and also great at following instructions; very excited with any opportunity to sail. My primary motivation is to get my captain’s license and would like to gain time on boat to qualify for the CG ‘time on-board’ hours required for exam.

I am 55 years old and in top physical condition and just want to be out on the water as much as possible. I live in St. Petersburg Florida, but willing to travel if it's within reasonable distances.

Achieved ASA certifications in:
ASA 101 - Basic Keelboat Sailing
ASA 103 - Basic Coastal Cruising
ASA 104 - Bareboat Chartering
Coastal Navigation
PADI certified
Completed US Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Skills and Seamanship Course

I would be happy to help sail your boat or even assist working on your boat project if only for the experience. I’m currently reading sailing books, boat surveying and repair books, as well as conducting other research in sailing issues, while studying for CG OUPV/Six-Pack Captain's License.
