Micronesia to Texas in Dec/Jan. Ideas?

I live in Micronesia and am considering a job opportunity in Texas and am wondering if there is a route that would be passable departing December or January. My boat is a 51ft. full keeled ketch, so she doesn't sail too close to the wind. It is cyclone season in S. Pacific and S. Indian Ocean. I know the N. Pacific and N. Atlantic, but have never given the Indian Ocean much thought. From quick reading, it looks like I'd need to wait 6 months for the S. Indian... Seems too late (cold) to head north from Micronesia over the top to the West Coast of the US and down to the ditch. Any ideas?

red sea is about your only option if you want to take less than 6 months
