Re: Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 41DS

May be a bit late to the discussion, however. BOTO is a 40 DS which we have lived aboard and cruised the Carib for the last five years. She has ample storage below decks for everything you could desire, including water maker, freezer, wine cellar, 400lbs of dog food, etc....; we kept folding bikes in stbd lazarette when not in use and along the rail when using regularly. It is worth noting that our version is a 2 cabin, 2 head. What could be a third cabin is storage space, an over sized stbd lazarette and a large pantry off the galley. Above decks we did add davits for the dink, solar panels, bbq, antennas, etc.... We carried an additional 30g of dsl and 10g of gas, 10g H2O in jerry cans on the foredeck without issue. Also, we carry two anchors forward, each with chain and another aft, with chain and rode, again no issue with access, etc.. As has been mentioned there is always a desire for more space, but life is a compromise.

Good luck to the original poster.
