Bringing this one back from the dead....
I'm headed to a
bareboat charter out of La Paz. The
boat we booked was removed from their fleet at the last minute so the
charter company offered to upgrade us to a new 2017 Bali 4.5 for the week which is awesome!
The catch: They are waiting on the boats permit for the Mexican National Park to be able to go to Espiritu Santo and Partida. We would have personal permits, but not one for the
boat.
The background: We have chartered here before and spent the bulk of our time at Espiritu Santo and Partida. We have been to Isla
San Francisco and San Evaristo and loved them too.
The questions:
Are there places to go outside the park that could keep up occupado for a week?
All the reading I could find (google, noonsite, etc) showed that only personal permits are needed but the charter company says a boat permit is needed. I'm inclined to believe them but wondering what the best source of information is.
Does anyone know the consequence of
anchoring in the park without a boat permit but with personal permits for everyone?
Thanks for the help!
