Alantic. Bahamas, Bermuda, Azores, Portugal

11th May Looking for cheerful enthusiastic relaxed crew to help and enjoy sailing the Atlantic, preferably with offshore sailing experience. You will be required to share all duties, watch keeping, cooking, sail changing, whatever, etc, etc. I already have one or two friends as crew experienced and familiar with the boat. Share expenses, ie. food. fuel, marinas, customs etc etc. Non smokers. Boat FP Maldives 32' Catamaran. We are allowing around 6 weeks.

Re: Alantic. Bahamas, Bermuda, Azores, Portugal

Hi,

I am a 31 years-old Portuguese Architect and Ski instructor. I am a sportive, non-smoking guy, and I speak 4 languages, Portuguese (native), English, Spanish and Italian. I am really eager to learn and enthusiastic about sailing so please keep reading!

I worked in NYC from 2012 to 2015 and then I decided to discover South America.
Currently I am looking for passage across the Atlantic, as crew on a sailing vessel planing to leave Central or North America towards Europe. My objective is to reach home between now and the end of 2016, while learning more to build on some sailing experience.

I know every ship is different and that you need to get used to one; I am eager, willing to learn and easy and fun to work with.

AT A GLANCE

My competencies: deckhand, watch-keeper, navigator, cook and photographer (go-pro).
Ship maintenance experience: teak-deck, bottom ship side maintenance, heating, cleaning. No engine experience.
Trip: Cross Atlantic, West to East
Timeline: Anywhere between March-July 2015 I am ready to hop on and do what is expected of me.
Contribution: Of course I am willing to share cost expenses.
Location of departure: I am flexible and will travel to any location from where the vessel might be leaving (Carribean, North-America).

Are you going to cross the Atlantic from West to East? Do you know someone who will? Or do you have any other tips? Please let me know on my below contact-information.
I am very grateful!

To learn more about my journey please feel free to check my trip's Facebook page, Instagram account.
