Texas Liveaboard Laws - Inland Lake Marinas

Regarding inland lakes (Corp of Engineer Lakes)-I can't find anything online regarding laws (Texas) preventing someone from living aboard while slipped in a marina. I was told there is a law that prohibits anyone from spending more than 20 continuos nights aboard. I was also told, by the same person that the marinas don't advertise it, but they actually like full time liveaboards as long as those living aboard are quiet and don't hang out their laundry. They don't enforce the 20 day thing because they appreciate the added security of having round the clock presence by the liveaboarders. I asked him (he owns the ships store and sells Catalina yachts near a Dallas lake) straight out..."does anyone live here in this marina?" He smiled and said yes.

I'm thinking that this might provide me another option to prepare for our salty departure in a few more years.
