So, lucky you! Here’s all the stuff we’ve left for you:

Accommodations

  • 2 state rooms -- full double-bed V-berth and full double-bed back berth
  • Saloon table lowers with cushion to make it into full double berth.
  • Boat sleeps 7, but really two couples comfortably.
We fell in love with the Catalina 34 almost entirely because of its comfortable interior.

Table lowers and converts into a full bed for guests or calm sleeping when underway.

Galley

When you’re not cooking, everything stows away neatly in the galley cupboards.

The custom-built cupboards in the galley were installed in 2012.

Sails and canvas

  • Post-factory roller-furler mainsail.
  • Both mainsail and the roller-furler 135% genoa are in very good condition, the mainsail being new in 2012 and the genoa being new in 2011.
  • Both are easy to reef single-handedly and all the rigging runs back to the cockpit.
The best thing about the roller-furler set up is how easy it is to reef.

Electronics and navigation

  • Garmin GPS 7″ chart plotter we installed on Hideaway’s helm in 2014,
  • 2012-installed Raymarine instruments and autopilot.
  • Stereo control at the helm which changes tunes on your iPod, stations on the radio and the volume.
  • 2012-installed fixed VHF radio at Nav Station
This removable panel will keep your batteries topped up (when there’s sun and your fridge and computer are off).

Electrical and mechanical

You absolutely need this if you’re going cruising.

Ground Tackle

  • Rocna 20 (44 lb) main anchor on bow
  • 90 feet of heavy chain and 100 feet of rode.
  • Backup anchor: 22 lb Danforth with rode.
Deck & Hull

  • In 2012, all plastic thru-hulls replaced with copper thru-hulls
  • Netting installed on lifelines -- great for keeping pets, children and loose items on board.
