SF to Catalina- Late Aug/Early Sept

Will be staying around the islands for a week or so, then off to LA or San Diego, pending slip availability. Probably just less then a week of transit sailing. I plan on doing some snorkeling, hiking, beach activities and tourism on and around the islands.

I'll supply the boat, fuel and some food.

You: Cover your own expenses. Non smoker, no drugs except prescriptions. Under 55 yo unless in real good health, as myself. Must be able to steer by compass or GPS. Have some offshore experience. It would be best if under 6' tall (short headroom). Male or female, 1 or 2 crew depending on experience.

The boat: Excellent condition, see blog below. Originally sailed out of Seattle.

PM or leave post for more info or questions.

Del

Re: SF to Catalina- Late Aug/Early Sept

I believe I have one well qualified crew member now. I have room for another if anyone is still looking for a short pleasure cruise.

Will be getting underway on the 28th of August or shortly after. And I believe I have a slip in San Diego, so that will be my final destination for this hop. I can single hand it from Catalina to SD, if need be.

Re: SF to Catalina- Late Aug/Early Sept

Del,
Great to see a real CF member posting for crew with subsequent feedback. This section of CF could provide an excellent resource if more members posted rather than some guy/gal with 1 or 2 posts. By the way, beautiful boat with great attention to detail. Good luck and good sailing.
