I am right now in turkey and for yacht tourism there is no difference to feel.

You might be a tad biased. You live in Turkey and work in the marine industry and fear losing your livelihood due to terrorism.

Expats aren't disappearing left and right - the military/judiciary is definitely being systematically purged, but I don't think EU/US nationals not involved in the domestic politics of Turkey have that much to worry.

i am not in the marina industry and absolutly not afraid of loosing business. You have a picture in your mind and try to fit anything into it.
If your assumptions should be right, we would have heart facts according that since 15 july. I would suggest you to try to read the meeting in istanbul yesterday. People from all fronts were in those meetings in istanbul,ankara,izmir....
Without knowing the facts, making assumptions and scaring cruisers looks to me wrong.
