Sirrus radio on-board Lagoon 380

Considering installing Sirrus satellite radio on our Lagoon 380. The research I've done indicates I'll need the Sirrus hockey puck antenna, a Sirrus compatible radio and a coax cable. Do I need any other equipment. I'm assuming I plug the coax cable from the antenna directly into the back of the radio? Provided I have a subscription should this work?

We plan to use this system in the Virgin Islands, Lower Caribbean as far South as Grenada/Trinidad and the Bahamas. Anyone have experience with reception in these areas?

Finally, I'd like to use the speakers currently in the cockpit, is there a method for connecting these to the radio or am I limited to the radio's internal speaker?

It's real easy, many ways to do it, I have a Garmin aviation GPS and the XM Wx subscription and just plug it into the mini plug on my radio. Coverage may not be as good as you think though. here is a post on that

I bought a Sirius radio with a lifetime subscription on Ebay for $250. It is a little receiver module with a screen, a knob and a few buttons on it. It plugs into a dock that has a headphone jack, power jack and antenna jack. I bought the antenna, dock with power supply and remote control for $10 ea, so a total of $280. Just plug a 3.5mm stereo plug into the audio jack and plug the other end into your aux. input on your stereo and you're all set.

The seller advertises the lifetime subscription is good for as long as the radio works. He gives a 2 yr warranty on the subscription and the radio, so if either quits, you get a new one from him. I think I've had it for close to 2 yrs now, works great, gets all of the channels! $250 is less than 2 yrs of subscription alone.

I actually bought 3 docks, 3 antennas and 2 remotes. One set is for my truck, one is for my Camry and one is for my living room entertainment center. I just take the receiver itself with me in and out of the house and cars.
