Good reputation. Descended from Mathers. Some nice-looking boats. There was an exhibit not too long ago at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, MD; very interesting.

A Trumpy would need a lot of work to maintain properly.

You don't have to shout, next time.

Watson,

In doing research, Google will be your best friend for a while. I found quite a few articles on Trumpy (Not Trumphy) yachts. here are just two....

Trumpy Yachts
Trumpy Yacht Building exhibition opens at CBMM August 6 - Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

Here on the Great Lakes we do not see many of them, but along the East coast of Lake Michigan there is one that visits every now and then. It is around 90' feet of pure heaven, the owner must spend a ton of money keeping it looking Bristol. I did not get a picture, but this one is very similar.

Re: I Have Been a Member for 8-9 Years Looking for a Sailboat

I have to admit that when I type. i always look down at my keyboard and don't look up until i am done my note.. Once i have typed a note of 3-4 or more sentences,i am reluctant to go back and retype it all over again due to some stupid rule about shouting ...It is a personal problem with me so i apologize in advance for any further transgressions

BUT i am still in love with Trumphy's and i don't mind buying white paint by the 55 gallon drum and then sandingfor a few months each summer as i will have the prettiest boat to pull into Road town, tortola each october from Miami where i shall keep her on the hard as they do what ever needs to be doen [ could be attention to stuffing boxes, refrigerators or gensets etc .. she will be pretty as a ppicture ... let us see if i can attach one to this noteClick image for larger version

I think my initial focus would be to try to solve the almost impenetrable mystery surrounding the function of the "caps lock" key.

"so i apologize in advance for any further transgressions" Why not just do it properly from now on? By the way, "i" is capitalized.

Just an observation, I have noticed if one cannot contribute technically to the sweeping scope of CF then they like to help out with what they are able.

My attitude is thus :

If you want me to spend my time drafting a detailed, considered response, then do me the consideration of spending a little time to compose a similarly detailed, considered, and reasonably grammatically-accurate question.
