Wm Garden designed and inspired 40' Taiwan ketches
A new group on Facebook called "Jewels of the Sea" has been started for the purpose of gathering verifiable information on the history, design, and current sea & refit stories concerning Formosa, CT, Mariner, Island Trader and other 40' +/-ketches built from designs of Bill Garden or derived from them.
We are looking for history of these boats, contact with people who sail them, rebuild them, or have been involved in business related to them. The group is strictly focused on these specific boats and seeking first hand knowledge beyond popular opinions.
If you have first hand knowledge concerning these boats, we would love to hear from you and you are welcome to join the group.
thanks

I don't have any first hand knowledge but there are a couple WG designed boats on the 'rogue' dock at the marina I'm in right now. I'll direct them to your site though I'm not sure they use the internet or have even heard of it.

Sorry Goat, but I think you DO have a little first hand knowledge. Didn't you help pull a motor out of a CT41?

Not sure. Are you a bronze pianist known as Cabron and partial to rattlesnake tequila?
